Photography in a Museum

So, my AP art teacher encouraged all 12 of her AP students to submit their art to the Brooks Museum's artPOPculture contest. I was pretty hesitant at first because none of my art has anything to do with pop culture. However, I had an idea. I asked her if we were allowed to send in photography; we were. So, the next weekend I went over to my friend Sam's house and we had a photoshoot. It was super fun and I used two of the pictures in my submission, not expecting to place at all. BUT, much to my surprise I was accepted in the art show and in fact, my piece is featured on all of the brochures and invitations sent out for the exhibit. It was also published in the Brooks magazine! So you can imagine how excited I am. It was a really pleasant surprise. I'll try to attach the photo below.
